Meet the Staff

Hello!  My name is Dr. Jacob Wilson!  As you can probably tell by now,  I'm a family man.  I know there is nothing more important in life than our health and our families' health.   This was made apparent to me early on in life.  But before I go on I want to share a little about myself.

Eleven years ago something happened to me that changed my life forever.  Let me tell you my story.

I will never forget that day.  I was driving down back roads after school when it happened.  The roads were wet and I lost control. The next thing I know I am in an ambulance.  I was a sophomore in high school and in those days you feel like you're invincible.  When I wrapped my parent's car around a tree going 55 mph, I found out that was not the case.

As you probably guessed, I survived.  After the accident I started getting terrible headaches.  They made me very irritable and I would often snap on my own family.  So I continued to live with it.  Taking the occasional pain killer when I couldn't stand the pain.  I didn't know what else to do.  Well, the problem got worse.  I knew that I was too young for this and I was scared.  That is when I met someone who explained to me that my spine had been injured from the accident, even though I was unaware of it.  The accident  damaged my spinal bones which resulted in injury to my nervous system.  The injuries are what were leading to my headaches.  This person was a Chiropractor....

My friend said “go see a chiropractor.”  The chiropractor did an exam, took some films and then “adjusted” my spine.  The adjustment didn't hurt, it actually felt good.   I got relief, no more headaches and I noticed that I started to be myself again.  It worked so well, I was inspired to go to chiropractic school myself.

I graduated from Fenton High School in Fenton, MI.  I then attended Grand Valley State University where I studied Bio-Medical Science.  After four years I headed down to Marietta, GA and Life University. I graduated from Life University June 2009.  I met my wife Katherine in Marietta and we now have a beautiful three year old son, James.  As a student I taught chiropractic technique to students and doctors.  I traveled away from my family for four months to do my internship at Harless Family Chiropractic, one of the world's premiere Chiropractic Wellness Clinics.   I’ve been entrusted to take care of tiny babies and 98 year old men.  I look forward to meeting you and helping you live life to the fullest.

I hope you enjoy the content of this web site as much as I enjoy providing it.   Please feel free to share it with your friends and family.  I would love your feedback.
